Instructor - Trevor Peterson

Trevor grew up in the small town of Nipomo, California about 30 minutes south of San Luis Obispo. He attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon and upon graduating in 2015, he went on to Officer Candidate School for the United States Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia. Upon commissioning as a Second Lieutenant and attending a follow-on school, he was sent to Columbus, Georgia to become an M1A1 Tank Commander. It was in Columbus where he started flying as a hobby that, within two flights, became a passion and desired career path. He currently serves as a Captain in the Marine Corps Reserve and enjoys surfing, camping, ice hockey and of course aviation in his downtime. His best advice to students is to never…ever give up no matter what.

Trevor has since been HIRED and is now flying Q400 at Horizon Air! We wish him good luck!
