“I currently take flight lessons from the owner, Omar; I have nothing but good to say about him and those that work for him. A lot of schools seem to just hire people by the dozens that just got there certificate for flight instructing(cfi/cfii) who just want to get hours and leave, and you hear about students being halfway through with their private pilot licensing and their instructor that they built a relationship with just leaves without notice. But Omar and Faris as well are great at what they do, and are there for you through your whole process, as well as always good with answering any questions you have. I met the owner Omar(former airline pilot) and he was very informative and cares a lot about the students at the school. He’s hands on and very involved with your training even if he is not your instructor. I visited other schools at John Wayne and felt that OC Flight Lessons was the best value overall. Omar spent 1 hour out of his busy day explaining how things worked and answered every question I had thoroughly and added insight about things I didn’t even think of. If you want to fly every day(like I did), they can accommodate you as long as you plan ahead. I’d recommend starting with a demo flight and going from there.”
