“If you’re interested in becoming a pilot, this is the school to attend. I began my training in May 2015 with incredible results! I completed my PPL at 51 hours! Which is… unheard of, in the L.A. basin area. Including my instrument rating, right at FAA minimums as well. I’m currently finishing my commercial with the same results! Aircraft rates are one of the lowest compared to nearby schools. Instructors are highly experienced with airline backgrounds. I met the owner Omar(former airline pilot) and he was very informative and cares a lot about the students at the school. He’s hands on and very involved with your training even if he is not your instructor. I visited other schools at John Wayne and felt that OC Flight Lessons was the best value overall. Omar spent 1 hour out of his busy day explaining how things worked and answered every question I had thoroughly and added insight about things I didn’t even think of. If you want to fly every day(like I did), they can accommodate you as long as you plan ahead. I’d recommend starting with a demo flight and going from there.”

“First time in the AIR in a Piper Sport. Instructor Bre Orr was fantastic as to clarity and understanding as to instructions. Intro flights are brief but provide an excellent expectation as to what comes next. On that note, I’m on board to continue my training to my Private Pilots License. I have no idea what this will lead to but I do know this will and can open doors. Whether I use it for Business to travel the coastal region on behalf of Ocean Marine Surveyors, Inc or just pleasure or maybe even further in the industry of flying but all I can say is and recommend is one step at a time and I do recommend OC Flight School to check it out!”
